Caro First Speaker Series

As scheduled, Thursday programs begin with fellowship and coffee at 10:00 a.m. Presenters bring skills in management, non-profit leadership, and community service relevant to the needs of the Caro community.

Ecumenical Relationships and Events

We participate in the Good Samaritan Fund of Tuscola County Churches to provide for tangible needs of men, women, and families. Seasonal celebrations during Holy Week and Thanksgiving, CROP-CWS Hunger Walk participation, and other ecumenical relationships are enjoyed.

Holy Rollers Bowling Fellowship

Participants meet biweekly as scheduled at Brentwood for fellowship.

Coffee Fellowship

This occasion for fellowship and nurture occurs each Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the parlor or via Zoom.

Men's Breakfast

The congregation’s men gather for breakfast in the lower level kitchen and dining room the third Saturday of each month.

Collaboration in Ministry

First Presbyterian Church has hosted meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous to serve a regional need without barriers.  The congregation regularly hosts events by civic organizations, such as the Caro Roadhouse Museum & Historical Society’s house tour as recent as December 2022.  In addition, members and friends take part in regular fellowship, cultural field trips, and community service projects, including MDOT's Adopt-A-Highway cleanup program.

Friends of Music Series

With our Aeolian-Skinner organ and Steinway Model A piano, as well as all-are-welcome hearts for hospitality, sharing music with the community is a vital part of the mission of First Presbyterian Church. The Friends of Music series responds to a regional need for musical opportunities of the highest quality and adheres to hygienic protocol keeping with published guidelines at all levels. Join us and recognized performers for the following Friday noontime events underwritten by patrons. Canned and packaged food donations are received at events benefiting the Good Samaritan Fund of Tuscola County Churches.
